Reiki is a Japanese technique to promote healing of the body. While it is spiritual, it is not tied to any religion, and does not conflict with religious beliefs. It has been practiced for thousands of years; Pisces Glow in particular uses a form called Holy Fire Reiki, which works with the original system given to us by Mikao Usui in 1922. A key element of Reiki is that it guides itself and is channeled through the practitioner. Unhealthy energy in the body is identified by this energy, and is cleared through divine connection to Source. Reiki cannot cause harm, and works only for the highest good of all. Reiki is gentle, and has been shown to heal physically, emotionally, and mentally. It works at the root of the issue, tracing it back to its source, and can be applied to any ailment.

Reiki is traditionally done by laying the hands of the practitioner on the body of the recipient. However, it can also be done without light touch facilitation, as well as as distance sessions. Keep an eye on the shop for our upcoming Reiki-infused candles!
